Anyone know what TT's rules on this might be? They wouldnt actually let it roll as is, would they? They had to lose a good 4 minutes of snipe bidding (mine included)...anyone know for sure?
Whoa, Deja vu. I remember the same complaints and grips a few years ago when eBay seemed to go down for several hours every few days as the servers couldn't keep up with the skyrocketing use rate.
If TT starts getting high enough usage to start causing these service losses on a more regular basis, they will upgrade their equipment to take care of it. Yes it is annoying, but it is to be expected.

especially consigners
Not now! If I was a consigner I'd be ticked as there is definitely going to be money left on the table when all is said and done.

edited to add: I guess you can't really call them rips, but rather, 'Things that make consignors go WHAT THE F**K!!'
