Nice grades. I know you said you were a bit concerned with those pesky 86's.

    Congrats !

BTW, you should do well with the Ray Knight 10 if you decide to put it up on Ebay

Neither of the top 2 guys doing the Mets 86 set have the Knight in a 10

nice job, it is funny , I hated the 86 topps when they came out but 20 years later and established players with careers behind them , it is a prettycool set.

I still find it amazing that it took a month and a 1/2 to grade 30 cards from the same issue. these are usuallly the subs that get churned out in 2-3 days. at least the wait was worth it!!

All of the 10's are 1 of 1 except the rose special. I havent looked but I think some of the nines are as well.

I think you meant to say that they are "POP1's." 1/1 don't exist anymore.

  • Great grades!

Did you use a loupe or naked eye?

I've done just alright with the few 86s submitted.

Will you be sending back the overgraded ones ... so PSA can get them into the proper PSA 8 holders? image

    Thanks guys !

Jersey, I used a loupe and my trusty halogen lamp. Also did a lot of looking at different angles under the lamp with my naked eye.

Mark, I didnt mean to be short with you on the response to your question. I usually like to put my stuff on E-bay, However, Pm me with an offer and we can go from there.

Awesome grades! I would never tell anyone what to do with their cards but a couple of years ago I purchased a 1986 Topps Ozzie Guillen PSA 9 for 25 dollars. At the time I thought it was a pop 1. Over the last year I have seen a couple of more on ebay( I believe 4sc had two) that sold for less then 10 dollars. Might be a good idea to move some before the big boys send in thousands.

Yes I probably posted them, I bust open so much stuff, I forgetimage

I have become very picky on my subs lately, Usually, If it doesnt look almost perfect I dont send it in.
If you're not picky with these 80's issues you are just throwing money away.
