Well, they actually have listings, which is more than most new auction sites. Big mistake using the word "bay" in their name -- once eBay finds out about them, the legal letters will fly, and they'll have to change their name and lose any recognition they've built so far.
i finally gave in and clicked the link. i got a message from some internet watchdog group that the site is "unsafe". clicked off the site and reported the e-mail as spam for the tenth time. these people are a real PITA>
Haven't tried them. After the 15th email, I went and looked at their site. There were no listing at the time. After the 20th email, I clicked the unsubscribe link in the email and haven't heard from them again.
Businesses that promote themselves through spam are apt to attract mostly scumbags. And as Bob pointed out eBay will be all over their azz should they view the site as a threat, which they will once the site gets enough listings. Although most of the listings will be crap put up by scumbags.

What's the URL? coinbay.com just routes to a domain squatter with lots of popups (don't try it unless your shields are at maximum).
