Considering starting the 1955 TOPPS baseball set in PSA-7. Any thoughts?

Any help is appreciated, is SMR realistic to pay or am I just dreaming? What will the challenges be in putting the set together as far as low pop commons? Thanks . . .image

    1960,

I think you'll enjoy collecting this set. Its size (206 cards) makes it the smallest of any major Topps baseball set, which I think contributes to its popularity. Plus, the design is pretty sweet as well.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with much info on PSA 7's. I can help you with info on PSA 6's, 5's, and 4's, as I am in the midst of a 1955 set in each grade. If the PSA 6's are any indication, many commons can be had in the 60% of SMR range.

You might want to search ebay for completed auctions, there never seems to be a shortage of 55's.

Good luck if you decide to pursue this, and always remember, don't throw away those 4's and 5's, send them to me!

    Peace,

    Tom
