I don't mess much with coins but wast interested if you can dip off the PL surfaces of a Morgan Dollar?

    I have a PL moragn I do not really pay much attention to them but I saw a 21 D PL for common money and figured I should take it. It has some PVC haze on it. Dipped it but it did not come off. I don't want to mess up the coin overdipping it.

    Tried acetone yet? You should be able to leave that coin in acetone for as long as it takes without affecting a PL surface. Caveat: the longest I can speak from personal experience is 4 days' soaking.
