    Great pic and coin. Nice color. 65 non FBL.

    Beautiful coin, Robert! image Awesome picture, too! image I think it grades at a 64*. A few too many hits on Benjamin for a 65 I think.

    MS64 is my guess too. Great color.

    NGC= 64*
    PCGS 64 possibly FBL, need larger picts, Nice color, But I would think if it is in a 65, it is getting the eye appeal bump, as there appear to be a few too many hits in key focal areas.

    I recognize the coin.

    Nice pictures and nice color! I would guess a 64, but wouldn't be surprised to see it in a 65 holder.....

  • MS65, but maybe in a 66 holder.

    No way this is 64. If it was white, then yes 64. But PCGS will not grade pretty MSet frankies MS64 unless they are really banged up.

    Interesting comment. I was going to opine MS64 based on the marks, but the logic of this observation convinces me I have overlooked 'eye appeal' as a grading component of equal importance to technical markings. I am persuaded to give it an MS65.

    Since mine was the first correct answer, do you need my address to send it to?image

    Boy, oh boy. I just posted the coin and said "feel free to guess the grade", I didn't even promise I would actually reveal it. So, I feel I've been quite generous already! image

  • man o man - i was wrong guessing grade ; but i was thinking ..........

    who go`s to the trouble of posting an obscenly common 58-D in a unbelievably availible MS-65 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • and it`s a NGC holder for cryin` out loud !
  • HeywoodHeywood Posts: 1,246 ✭✭✭
    I bet if you dipped it, it would come back 64 every time.

    ( Maybe FBL at PCGS, but looks weak at left edge, other spots hard to tell from the photo)

    Very Nice Coin, Definately nicer than you common MS-65 58-d
