Someone thinks they are getting a bargain, judging by the bidding. I don't know much about 3 legged buffalo nickels, but am pretty sure this one is a grinder job..... or am I wrong??

Yeh, I agree about the leg stump coming to too much of an abrupt end.... that's what prompted my title of 'amputated leg'. Looks like the leg was hacked off at the joint...! Not sure what to make of the seller..... gives quite a bit of disclaimers in the description, and claims he has no knowledge about coins. Yet... seems to know about full braids in regards to strike, and about tooling..... so I have to think that they know definitively that it is fake. Seller has around 97% positive feedback... and does offer a refund privilege...
