Block out your cert numbers. Simple as that. Watermarks are another option.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
I'm a little confused and forgive my ignorance, but what are the stolen pictures being used for? Are they being used by ebay scammers trying to sell an item they don't have? Kelly
tanz-Used on EBay, also on trade sites and personal sale websites.
Collecting; Mark Mulder rookies Chipper Jones rookies Orlando Cabrera rookies Lawrence Taylor Sam Huff Lavar Arrington NY Giants NY Yankees NJ Nets NJ Devils 1950s-1960s Topps NY Giants Team cards
The other half of the story is some just use the image to represent their auction if they don't have a scanner of their own. Which last time i checked is still deception and internet fraud!! Report it!!
carew - just because someone uses a pic does not constitute deception and internet fraud.
Now if they were advertising an item they didnt actually posess, well thats something different.
edited to add: If someone is auctioning something you know they dont have, like a serial numbered card, then make a new scan of a sign that says something creative and use the same link for it that the fraudulent auction has stolen.

Somebody on another site used to send a Paypal bill to the photo thief for 25 or 30 dollars.
