Home Metal Detecting

Tonight's Finds

So I decided to take my metal detector out tonight after it cooled down, just to try it out. I found a few things, nothing of real monetary value, but I had tons of fun. My metal detector is a VLF Treasure Detector. Dunno much about it, except that I got it for christmas a few years ago. I found 2 nails, a bolt, part of a metal bracket, about a 3-foot length of chain, and a bullet! Not bad for my first try, huh? If you know anything about what I found, or anything about my metal detector, please feel free to share. Some pics:

  • Well your off to a good start....your first time out and you found metal! We all dug similar items when just starting out. Keep practising with your machine and the good stuff will come along.

What brand detector is it? Maybe if we knew that we could help you better.
So for now dig every signal till you learn what your machine is trying to tell you.
