    The TPG's didn't do First Strike on the holders back then. That's a new thing.

    Are you sure. I know 2 dealers who have half the population but want $3500 for them. I have also seen 1 on ebay like 5 months ago. Check eBay and you will find NGCs 1988 SAE 1st Strike

    They didn't 'make' first strike labels in 1988, but original Green Monster Boxes can be sent in with original tags on them, and they will be labeled First Strikes. It's all about the date they were released.
