I Cant determine from those pic's. Seems suspicious!
  • Read the fine print:

main photo is stock photo. All other photos are of actual coin being auctioned.

    A very deceptive auction!

This coin is very heavily counterfeited. Only buy in top tier slab!!!!!

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

The Liberty doesn't even look doubled. It's not a real 1955/1955.

Yep, about as real as a toupee.

Reported--BS like this has to stop
Reported the other bogus auction also.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"
  • FLASH--I just received the following response from the seller:

"This message has been reported to e-bay"

What did I say?--I merely quoted the title to the other post about this seller ("Scam Alert (Siren Sound) Scam Alert (Siren Sound) Scam Alert!")

Jeez, I guess I won't get much slep tonight (not)!

Calling someone a scammer in a public forum could be actionable (as in lawsuit). But truth is a defense!!

  • Latest mesage exchange with the seller:

You say This message has been reported to e-bay

    So have your bogus auctions
  • This is very deceptive indeed. I love the description though.

A picture is worth a thousand words so look at the pics Although he adds main photo is stock photo.

Then the best part to keep from being an outright liar There are several double die varieties know for 1955

Anyone still doubt the need for good TPG's?
Always talkative, but trying to learn....Amanda

Someone always does. The good ones aren't perfect but they are far better for the industry than the old ways.

it doesnt even look like a counterfiet. It merely looks like a normal 1955 P that had been dipped.
  • The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale.

But the overdate dime auction continues!

Yes, it is an ordinary 1955 cent, not a doubled die.
And it is polished as well.
