Todays arrival...toned 21 Morgan, please help with insight on "over dipped" look.

I hear folks talking about "over dipped " look all the time, yet I don't really know what that look is.
Does the obv. have that look ?? Or are we talking "original skin"??
I'm thinking dipped then place in some type of ???????????, that caused the unusal toning.
yea it's only a widget but I'm trying to learn a little something here.

PS........this is one of those coins, mentioned in an earlier thread, that I don't want anyone to see..

Remember it's not how you pick your nose that matters, it's where you put the boogers.

And by the way, I have overdipped stuff. It's not usually even white but more a sickly looking dullish or flatish "gray-silvery" white.

<< <i>The coin coin appears to be original/undipped and an end-roll piece to boot - hence the irregular toning pattern on the reverse.
No Way!! get outta town!!!
Mr. Feld............... the end roll toner thing never entered my mind, this is my first then, and on a 21 to boot.
Itza $30 coin, I paid 40 bucks for that hopefully I can sell for $20 when the time comes.
till then it's on my fav. list.

been a good day, I learned a little something (I was under the impression the coin was dipped big time) and I got to share
a great looking coin.
Stuart..........the picture taking wasn't too hard, deciding which pic to choose out of 25 that I took was the tough part..
