As much as we are die hard U.S. fans (liteside),,,

Everyone HAS to have a darkside (non US) coin that they have purchased on their numismatic journey that was a 'keeper' because it was different.

Come out of the closet and post a picture of something 'different' (coin/medal/token/etc - something not Mainstream US)

I have a few, but this was one of my first purchases. I had just seen the Mint show on TV and they showed how these were being made. Then I went in to sell off my inherited trash silver (well circulated Mercury dimes, a Presidential set from Franklin Mint, etc) and bought this.

Here is a picture of one of my Byzantine coins, this piece is a Constans II Gold Solidus struck in 652-653 AD at the Carthage mint. Just to give you a little perspective this coin is less then 11 mm in diameter, this coin is thick and weighs about 4.4 grams.
