Question about card identification - Fleer

The Fleer World Series cards - the Laughlin comic cards -
have a copyright date on the back.

The date on all of my cards is 1968. When PSA grades these
cards they flip them as "1970 Fleer World Series."

Are all of these cards dated 1968, regardless of what year
they were released?

Is the year of release determined by the card numbers, and
not by the date on the cards?

Thanks.

sometimes a date on a card reflects merely when the copyright was issued for the card, not when the card was actually released
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
