Not as big of a SP, but a very tough card to get. Estimated only 500-1000 out there I think. I think the number was something like 1 per case if lucky.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Looking for Al Hrabosky and any OPC Dave Campbells (the ESPN guy)
Is this some sort of game that Topps is playing? They say that the Gordon was a mistake. Yeah, right. Now, it's going to be impossible to complete a set. Something else too - when they do make some sort of super SP with a Cardinals player, I will be pretty ticked since I would have to pay mega bucks to get it because of my team sets. Oh well, I guess that's part of it.
Looks like the companies are back in the 1990's error craze. Wait a few years and then pick them up for 1/4 of what they go for now. I have been burned too many times to play they game! That's 26 years of collecting talking.

Heh. I picked up a 1989 Pro Set William Perry "Error" for about $1 on Ebay a few years back. I always wanted one of those. How much was that thing going for back in the day?
I actually pulled one of these yesterday at the National. Went by the Topps booth to pick up one of their promo Allen & Ginters. You have to rip three packs of any Topps product in front of them to get the card. Ripped the three packs of '06 series 2 and didn't even glance at what I pulled. Got back to the room later that night and saw that I had pulled it. Supposed to be seeded every 7800 packs or so. Definitely gonna flip that one on the Bay when I get home. May get it slabbed while I'm here - no idea if that will increase the sales value or not.
