Colorful Arkansas half dollar

I sold this coin to our very own Bear a couple of years ago -- it's a PCGS MS66 1937-D Arkansas that is much prettier than normally encountered.

Bear has pretty good taste, for somebody who poops in the woods and eats berries and stuff.
I've had Columbian halves, of course. And a San Diego and Stone Mountain and Pilgrim. Maybe a BTW and a Washington-Carver.
The only Oregon Trail I've ever owned came out of the dirt- sort of by a happy accident, you might say.
That's all I can remember having. One of the Pilgrims I had was a raw MS64 and my San Diego was a PCGS 63. Being a descendant of William Bradford, I really should have a nice Pilgrim half.
Classic commems are cool. I just totally lack experience with 'em. I think if I ever were to collect them, I would go for raw AU55-58 coins in a Dansco. That strikes me as a fun way to do it.
Maybe if I had nine lives like a cat, or lived to be 900 like some of those Old Testament guys, I could dig an entire commem type set while using my detector. I certainly don't expect to ever find another in this lifetime.
