Serious research question that no one will be able to answer

Can anyone provide any information about the 'Aulick Collection'. It was referenced in the Garrett sale catalogs, but with no date, or location or specifics.
Thank you in advance for not giving a silly answer.

J. Wiley Aulick of Washington, D.C., was active in the 1870s and 1880s, and in 1875 was listed as a subscriber to S.S. Crosby's Early Coins of America. The sale of his collection, April 15-16, 1883, by George Cogan was probably Cogan's most important sale. George had succeeded to the business of his father, Edward D. Cogan, and operated it for a few years, but never achieved his father's patronage or reputation.

another site shows (Note date difference):
Aulick, J. Wily – A Washington, D.C. collector. The auctioning of his coins is considered to be one of Geo. W. Cogan’s most important sales. The auction took place on April 12-13, 1883.

Edit - I believe this is the same person as well in the family history of John Wiley Aulick:

This mentions the collection being sold by George Cogan in April 1883.

Now if we could only help MrEureka out that well with his Clark Gruber & Co. research question.... Here.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
Check Adams, Volume I, pp. 103-104.
What do you mean that's not the first place you looked?
Betts medals, colonial coins, US Mint medals, foreign coins found in early America, and other numismatic Americana
