Is anything coin-related more fun to read than the Coin Rarities Online Road Report?

I always read them, but I forgot to post about it. Thanks for posting. I like how they don't take things too seriously (but they have spectacular coins). I expect nothing less from a firm located in my home state. image

Hey thanks! I'd insert the blushing emoticon here, but IMO it looks a little too much like Minnie Mouse.

Not that theres anything wrong with that.

Agreed! And CCU spells well too.

Now that I've been mentioned in a Coin Rarities road report, all that remains is one of those funny little engravings in the Wall Street Journal to totally inflate my ego.

I really enjoyed their Mid-America Expo write-up. Entertaining in a light way.

A board member emailed me a link to this thread.

Thanks for the kind words, folks.

To be completely truthful, 100% of those funny/insightful Road Reports are written by John Agre -- your very own ColonialCoinUnion.

When I get home from a show and see what John has written about our adventures while at a show or auction, it can get a bit surreal at times. Kind of like watching a sitcom on TV, and noticing that there is a character who is playing me! Strange, but a lot of fun.
