Hawaiian/territorial gold experts: Advice needed

Chances to own such a coin come along rarely.
1883 KING KALAKUMA HAWIAN GOLD COIN
Kalakuma's reign was a short one (during the tumultuous time of the great Island Schism), when pro-Kalakuma forces, who as the seller correctly indicates identified themselves as "hawaian", battled Kalakaua's Hawaiian forces and attempted to remove the Hawaiian seal from Lolani palace:

in favor of the now-famous heretical hawaian logo of 1883:

The seller certainly understands and respects the rarity of the issue enough not to want to share images, which has the dual advantage of keeping the coin fresh and keeping images out of the hands of those who would publish them without permission.
But wait. Have you noticed it yet? True afficianados of HI coinage will recognize the exceedingly rare capitail I VAM from the discription. Whether the seller is himself aware of this attribution is not immediately apparent. I suspect he is, and has included this tidbit out of courtesey to his fellow Hawaiiaphiles. Kudos to this advanced collector for underplaying its importance.
The seller has absolutely perfect feedback.
So the reason for my post, and the question I ask of my fellow collectors, is this:
Should I BIN, or should I risk low-balling such an important issue?

We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.

I can see I'll be getting into a bidding war with you, Fletcher. Be warned, my sniping skills are unparalleled.

I'll keep my head down
Hawaiiana is hot. Some of the Damon estate coins went for moon money.
Edited to add: I should have read the whole post. I thought the pics were your sigline!
