there are so many that it's really not fair to list only a few.......

roadrunner's posts are always informative as are elwoods, Darin BigD always has some great insight when he's not having to put the pacifier back in Fletcher's mouth, I like Baley's picture posts of his 7070 set, etc......

Anyone that posts anything about the new Gold Buffalo is also automatically excluded from my list too.image It's bullion, get over it.

see, I went back and read BillJones, Keets, CCU, etc....

    there are quite a FEW!

Well, as the resident new guy I like it here a lot. Even the disputes are usually humourous and largely unavoidable in an internet forum.

I have one piece of advice to sellers / dealers. Us new guys are out there and lurking. I've seen some dealer types here say some things on line (not to me but just to others in general) that just turn me off the thought of doing business with them EVER.

I'm not saying it isn't deserved, doesn't need to be said, isn't correct, etc. I'm saying as a customer from afar when I see some of the interaction I sometimes think, "Wow, I'll die before this guy gets a nickel from me.

Trust me nobody here should fear losing my meager purchasing power but I bet others out there feel the same way every once in a while.

For just as many of that example there is 2x or 3x dealers in the opposite end of the spectrum that are remarkable and worthy of respect and business.

    New Guy, signing off.

I agree with all the names listed previously. I know there aren't a lot of Franklin fans out there, but FC57Coins (RIP), had a great series of posts about Franklins that can still be found thanks to Coinaddict. Also, Chuck Daughtrey (Lincoln expert but I forgot his alias), Coinlieutenant (John) and Airplanenut (Jeremy) are some of my other favorites.
  • mhammermanmhammerman Posts: 3,769 ✭✭✭
We have a good forum, rich in general knowledge about coins/coinage and well studied in their individual series. None should be discounted as we are each parts of the whole.

Keets, IGWT, ER, Relayer, amanda (YN), pistareen, condor, and the list of my favs is considerably longer. Thank y'all for your participation.

    Coin ON!
