Ordering from the mint is never boring

I was pleased that my UNC Mint set came in so quickly and when I looked over the set I saw this.



A big die crack starting form the rim to about 1/4 of the way to the center. It still in the package.

Last month I got the silver proofs and one quarter was struck-through a small piece of fiber.

I would like to know two things.
1. Do these two errors bring up or down the value?
2. Did they fire all the quality inspectors at the mint?

I was going to order another set but decided this is fine. Some other people here complained of there quality.
