Very nice... those cards are indeed hard to find. Congratulations on finding them in the first place.
I have always liked Conigliaro although no ties to Boston or anything like that. I lucked out when I acquired both of my Venezuelans - picked up the rookie raw on eBay about a year ago with the seller calling it EX.
Never saw these cards before I joined PSA. What is their story and what distinguishes them from the regular Topps set? Are they numbered differently, have different backs? I know absolutely nothing about them.
<< <i>Wow stone, what on that card drops it down to a 7? Looks like a blazer from the scan. Maybe a crack and resub candidate?

Lee - if you look at the corners on the back scan, I think that does it.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
I just recently acquired my first Tony Conigliaro rookie after reading the book written by his brother Billy. Great player......sad story, it's tough to think of what might have been.

Those are some great cards.
I did a short thread on Tony C. a while back.
And David Vargha sent me this card!
Is this a great hobby or what?
thanx for sharing - I enjoy seeing the Ven Topps cards - glad to see we have a few dedicated collectors of this issue.

Trust me nothing slips by Vargha.
Two tough TonyC items. 1967 Topps Test Issue Punchouts and 1967 Topps Test Issue Stickers.
Thanks Mike
I like test issues and proofs.
Those are really cool - never seen them before. Were they released only in the New England area?
thanx for sharing
