Anyone Going or Ever Been to the Bossier City / Shreveport Show this Weekend

I'm thinking about heading over to the show in Bossier City this weekend. It looks like it sponsored by the Shreveport Coin Club and is called the 43rd Annual Ark-La-Tex Coin Stamp & Card Expo. Is anyone going or ever been before that could give me a heads up on the show?? I'm in the Dallas area and its about a 3 hour drive. Thanks, CCG

This is the only show I ever go to so I have nothing to compare it to,but for me it is a good show.Only a
50 minute drive(one way).I usually go on Sunday and the crowds are small but steady. No idea about
    Friday and Saturday.
Quite a few tables(I feel sure it doesn,t compare to TNA in Ft Worth)Always lots of certified material
seems like the last couple years more currency is showing up(which I collect a little of).Raw material you
you have to really look through to find anything original(which is probably true for any show).Barber 10c
especially the key and semi key dates are tough in original good to fine.
Small section with stamps and another smaller section of baseball cards(which seems to get smaller every year)
Each year one of the local dealers has had his collection of toned Morgans on display.I always enjoy looking
    at them.
I have tought about making the TNA show, but have been to lazy to do the 4hrs each way.
The civic center is just a short drive off Interstate 20.Plenty of parking and security has always been good in the past.
    hope this helps

  • Thanks for the heads up. Glad to hear the stamps and cards are a minor part. We'll be over on Saturday morning. If you get the chance next year the TNA is worth the drive. Another good one in this area is the Grapevine Show. Thanks again, CCG
