Question on Divisors for sets

Are the divisors the total of all cards and their weight? The reason I ask is the 1970 football set had 263 cards and a divisor of 286. Shouldnt it be much higher since Simpson, Namath and Unitas are weighted 10,9 and 7 and 35 other cards are weighted over 1.

Thanks

  • Yes, the divisor for a set is the sum of the weights of the cards. I just did a quick calculation on the '70 fb set, and its divisor should be 348. You can bring this to their attention by emailing them.

That is what I came up with and it looks like the 286 is a misprint. The sets are using the higher figure
    Thanks
