Anyone do business with Bellisario Rare Coins?

Hi guys,

A coworker of mine brought in some coins that she bought from Bellisario Rare Coin Gallery back in 1986. These coins were sold to her as an investment. Sad to say, even 20 years later, these coins are not worth what she paid for them. Does anyone know if this company is still around?

I did a Google search. Yes, they are still in business.

Weren't common date MS-65 Morgans pretty pricey in 1986? I seem to remember they peaked around $500 just before the crash of '89, so maybe they were already run up to the $150-200 level (or higher) by '86?

Yep. Dime a dozen even in 66. I have still one today in an OGH. Worth maybe $50 today. Anyone who invested in these took a bath.
