Need expert opinion, is 1967 Lincoln cent worthless?

Just came across this 1967 Lincoln, was this destroyed by human anger or could it be an ERROR? (Which I doubt!)

    Its worth a couple of cents for copper melt. it will always be worth face.

    That's just damage, not an error.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
