Hopefully PSA completes a TON of submissions today!

Guess today is the last day they are completing submissions before packing up for the National? If your grades don't pop today, guess you can stop checking til at least next week sometime. I hope mine gets done today...and you guys??

Ive had one in since 6/12- I wish I knew if the last $5 special had a turnaround time. If it did I may want them to slow down.

I hope we both get them today Cuda, Mine has actually been there longer than that, but I forgot to put my cc # on the sub form so I had to call them and tell them about it. It finally got entered into the system about a week later. I called them a few days ago to ask if everything was alright with it, the rep on the phone acted like he was watching re-runs of seinfeld instead of listening and seemed about as iinterested. It was just 30 1986 Topps no special cards or anything.

I get the same type of response/attitude with most of them. Try Sonia Luque at extension #418...she's been pretty helpful when I call with questions.

ps: I'm guessing this week is worse cuz they're gearing up for the National but it'd still be nice to be treated better when calling. They should realize that the people calling are actually paying their wages. My last two submission were over $1000 in fees all said and done and I know mine are not even close to the amount of some of them.

Whenever I ask, I'm told they're in the 'grading process'.

Anyone else get anything more than that from them?

7/7/06 log in receipt date, sent on 6/30 -- actually received a few days earlier. Still waiting, although it's only been 3 weeks.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's only the registry gals and Joe who are going to the Convention Center, conveniently located within a few miles of Newport Beach. Why would the grading process stop?

Direct from their home page in reference to turnaround times: " this excludes grading specials and complimentary submissions. Guarantees are invalid during the weeks of major card shows PSA attends"

Someone yesterday posted that they called and PSA told them there would be no off-site grading done during National. I think its rediculous but hey, I know how to run a business.

I'm the person that confirmed w/ PSA that no grading will be done in the office from Wednesday until Monday. I've been checking and none of my subs popped....grrrrr.....

I think everyone should cue up Tom Petty's 'The Waiting' and then go about the business of forgetting they ever submitted anything. It will make the whole process a lot less painful.

BTW, a quick show of hands-- who here remembers 3-5 years ago when the turnaround times used to be measured in months, and not weeks?

    Right here dude![raises hand]

But they spoiled us so those days were easy to forget. But they also didn't have the on-line checking 5 years ago. I don't remember when that started but I do know that its bad. Veddy, veddy bad.

Yup-- you just sent 'em off and that was it.

The online checking thing IMO is something of a waste, since you get an email when they're done anyway (or at least I always do, I guess I can't speak for everyone).
