I took a chance on this one off the bay, usual poor blurred picture but it looked different. I grit my teeth and went for it and £1.45, well over the odds for a beat-up 1957 1/2d even a calm sea. I give it GF although I might be being a bit harsh. Anyway when it arrived today my suspicions were correct, it's a 1957 calm sea but not the normal 7 to bead but a 7 to gap. Freeman, spinks, Rotographic make no mention. Does anyone have any information about this coin.
