Funny Ebay ad for nice morgan

I sold a motorcyle for client-TWICE on ebay. First buyer a no show/no pay, second buyer legit, but a first time ebayer. Long story short, I drove 600 miles to deliver the bike, but didnt have title, then buyer wouldnt send payment to get title-so I drove another 425 miles to deliver title. Got shafted, but fineally got paid. 70 + days to completion and no profit. SO, I decided to make next auction more fun.
A lot of people have written to tell me that they enjoyed the auction description. The first three paragraphs are standard-then it gets wacked.
Like to laugh? Then check out this auction on ebay numbered: 180007288837 or check this link

The item is real, and I listed it in humorous fashion to make this auction fun-since my last auction was so crappy and sucked so badly. I just wanted to try and entertain bidders. You like it?

First thing I noticed is that its listed wrong in the title as a 1901...when its really a 1901-O

Big difference in price there, might want to think about relisting.

    Add was pretty interesting though.

Edited: NVM you have New Orleans in title...
  • I have seen a few of his auctions for morgans and they all say the exact same thing, only the date has been changed for the coin in the specific auction .

Edited to add: I missed the N.O. in the title at first glance as well, I had a statement simular to the one above but decided to edit it out once I saw the NO in the title after reading it closely

I got a question about the "fine print" The small letters say:
    "YOUMUSTHAVETHISCOINYOUMUSTHAVEHISCOINYOUAREGETTINGVERYSLEEPY NOWYOUAREUNDERMYCOMMANDYOUARERELAXEDANDYOUAREGETTINGREADYTOBIDALOT OFMONEYTOOWNTHISSUPERLOOKINGMORGANYOUAREENTERINGYOuRBIDITISHUGE
    YOUARECLICKINGNOWBIDDINGBIGBIGBIGGESTEVERBIDSYOUAREHAPPYANDONTHREEYOUAWAKEN"

    3

And here I was going to say sweet @zz but instead put posterior...

You better bet your sweet posterior that I will drive at top speed, without regard to the safety of other motorists, pedestrians, or to myself, IMMEDIATLY to the USPS once I have your exorbitant premium payment in hand....

  • I beleive I would leave the picture of the cat and dog off and try to take some better close up pictures of the coin itself, but thats just me. i dont usually buy a coin because the slab has a specific grade on it, i like to judge for myself (as much as poccible from a picture)

Umm, I have NEVER listed Morgans on Ebay, and as to "all saying the same thing" I'd have to say NO. I have never sold PCGS or any certified morgans on ebay, and sold only 3 ever, and they were part of a collection..... So, I'd have to declare shenanigans on your statement. Perhaps someone else has a similar format and you have me confused with them? But I swear I didnt steal ANYONES auction format or text, and have never listed anything even similiar to this description, not to mention that I have never sold morgans anywhere period.
So, while you may have seen something similar, you have NOT have seen auctions from me for Morgans or other coins listed in a like manner. But I would love to check out ads that "all say the exact same thing, only the date has been changed" if they are similar to this one.

Well, looks like the hhumor in ad didnt affect value. I thought perhaps I might be losing $$$ on the auction because people might not take the coin serously because of the humor, but seems like people are bidding as they ordinarily would.... anothert hour and I will know fo rsure.
