I'm having fun with this eBay "Guide" stuff.

Too bad the image capability sucks, and shrinks the pictures down. You can edit and drag 'em to be bigger, but then they get all pixelated and useless. I've always hated eBay's picture hosting, anyway. Gotta hand it to 'em, though- this "guides" thing is a good idea.

Y'all should write some, with real knowledge in 'em, instead of my goofy little vignettes.

a 1957 71 5 pstas

a 1957 74 25 pstas

(Those are all from el Generalisimo)

And a 1975 1980 1 peseta from Juan Carlos el Primer

Very interesting! I would have never known that. I would have just gone on thinking they were made in the year on the obverse!

Many dates are quite scarce in unc.

These are often found misdated. Peseta coins are some of the toughest to find from the '50's even in nice VF.

For instance a nice choice unc '61 peseta has gone from $3 in the '93 Krause to $90 in the most recent.


...or the 1954 that went from $4 to $325.
