I just ripped 10 1/10oz Gold Eagles for $504 - UPDATED FWIW

There's an infomercial on right now selling 2003 $5 Eagles at $48 each. I called up for the heck of it, they quoted me around $90 each, and then I told them what I was watching. They said it was an old ad but they had to honor the price. Max order was 10 coins, and the total was $504 incl shipping. Cheesy packaging - it's 5 coins in a holder, but what the heck.
No mom and pop operation, so I don't feel gulity about the rip.

Update 8/05: So all 20 coins came in yesterday and they're great. Kudos to these guys for making good on the deal. Like I said before, they didn't have to. Could've blamed the local station. Next time I buy I'm giving them first crack at it.

These aren't the same people, and my buddy who just ordered me 10 more said the girl that took his order asked him where he lived and what station he saw the commercial on. Kept him on hold awhile and then came back and told him he'd "won the lottery" lol.
They didn't have to honor the price. They could have said "It's a mistake and we're working on it. We're sorry". What am I gonna do? Sue them? No. But they did honor it and consequently gained a customer who will recommend them and buy from them IF everything works out and the coins are nice.

If you're talking about First American Reserve, they seem ok to me. I ordered a bunch of NGC SAEs from them for $10 each and was satisfied. Sold them for a nice profit, and haven't been swamped with spam or anything...

So I'm guessing we're not talking about Superior.
