This auction just closed for a '56T PSA 4 Mantle. The reasons I didn't bid on it were (1) Seller lives in Slovakia, (2) he will hold a check for 3 weeks and accepts cash?!?, (3) only has 8 transactions, and (4) he pulled the same auction a week ago here.
The Buyer, kid7567, has a strong record purchasing high dollar cards and the bidding history shows it was a legit auction. The card in PSA 4 goes for +/- $350, so it's not like kid7567 made that great of a deal considering the Seller's weak track history.
So I guess my question is this. Based upon the circumstances of the Seller, would you pay just below market without a paypal option, outside of the country, and limitable recourse for possible fraud? Or rather pay +/- market to a more established Seller here in the states with different pay options and recourse, if needed?

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Looking for Jonny Gomes cards, especially Triple Threads and printing plates. Will consider all cards, though. Got something? Contact me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com

"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
I just noticed that on his canceled auction, he had the following in the description:
"Please do not bid if you cant pay for this card.A recent high bidder did not pay for it so I am selling this card again."
This was left out of the recently completed auction for whatever reason....
I guess slovakian ebay doesn't enforce solicitation of cash. It makes sense... the only place you cannot accept US cash is in the US
<< <i>FWIW, this card looks way better than a 4. >>
That's why I was seriously considering taking a run at it FYI - The cert number 07121434 matches in PSA as a 4.
