He's got another one listed specifically as a mini. Judging by his grading of the card (fine/good) he's not a collector, or at least not currently. I think he's just a bit sloppy in his listings, and probably sent or listed the wrong card. If you don't want it you'd be within reason to ask for a refund or exchange.
Haven't checked on modern prices in years, but aren't mini's worth about double?

  • griffins is right, maybe not double but clearly worth more.

You have evry right to ask for a refund in my opinion, As stated, The guy is probably not a collector and got a little sloppy. You may want to send it in if you think it has a chance at a NM 7 or better, I think I saw a Nm 7 go for almost $50 bucks not long ago. If you dont think it is worth the hassle just ask him for a refund, It could bebefit you more if you didnt ask though.

Thanks for the quick opionions guys. ill just keep now that i see the minis are worth the same or more. I thought the mini's were not worth that much.

as you can see i bought this card surfing while drinking auction ended really late.. lol
  • the scan isn't very clear but it does not look like a 7 to me. maybe a 6. but even with the grading fee, a 6 would not be a bad return. if it's a 5, you lost a few bucks.

Nice pick up for under $30 IMO.

Did you scan that or is that the auction photo?

Can you give us a nice scan so we can see the corners?

The card is approaching OC T/B but I think it may sqeeze into the 7 range and will look great in a holder.

That would put the card - SMR at 65$ Can't believe that used to be in the 200$ range!

For what you paid? I think ya did good if it comes back a 7.

And BTW, I recollect - the mini's used to have a 2X factor in the late 80s/early 90s and has been on a decline.

The guide has them at 1 - 1.5X. But some think they're even up.

Good luck if you send it in.
