GEEZ SOME BUYERS!!!

Sold an item on Ebay today. Buyer emails me today tells me he put the MO in the mail today and that he has to have the item by Wednesday for his childs b-day. I emailed him back telling him that if he put the MO in the mail today it most likely will not get it until Tuesday or Wednesday. He told me that was unaccecptable and that I should take Paypal. Then went on to say that if he did not have it by Wednesday he would be leaving a negative feedback.

I wrote him back explaining that even if he paid today via Paypal, I don't get home til after 5 on Fridays and our local post offices are closed on Saturday, so the earliest the item would go out is Monday and even then there would be no way to be certain the item got to you by Wednesday.

Waiting for his response.

You should have told him not to have waited so long to buy
his kids Bday present and it's not your fault
that it won't get there in time. Some people
    are clueless. Joe

I am hating buyers today, also.

The birthday dad, should probably be told that the item was "stolen,"
and that his MO will be returned to him.

In any event, the threat of the NEG should be reported to eBay, even if
you do not cancel his purchase.

(Please consider letting us know the name of the BAD buyer so that
he does not mess with us.)

I am really tired of buyers talking to me like garbage. I do not know
who the heck these people think they are, but all they are to me is
NOTHING! They act like I should worship at their shrines if they buy
a bleeping postcard. DIE evil nasty buyers!!!!

    end of rant.

Don't forget to get on the skype (or whatever the frick it's called) bandwagon so these wonderful buyers can converse with you live on your computer.

Yeah, I'll be adding that option real soon. How much has ebay invested in this project?

I just noticed a 'question for seller' email in my spam box for an item that doesn't exist. Hmmm...I don't think I'll be opening that one.

Man would I be pissed if I was you!
I would tell him that in the future he should be smart enough to ask questions before he bids!

    The bottom line......
The war would be on with this idiot!

ps.....what is his ebay ID, as I would like to block him!

i'd tell him you will be ending the transaction and returning the MO. sounds like you are in for a neg regardless.

sorry about your luck on this one. was it a high dollar item?

    Thanks,

  • Tell him his son is apparently going to learn a hard lesson in life--disappointment, on his birthday no less.

I fell for the 'Geez, can you ship my item out while my money order is in the mail to you?' line once. Thankfully it was only on a $15.00 item.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

  • should probably be told that the item was "stolen,"

An item was actually stolen at a show on the same weekend that it was bought from my ebay store. I sent an explanation with apology and promptly refunded his Paypal payment. The result was a negative and 2 days of emails telling me that I was, among other things "pond scum"

If I am getting a neg I would rather have the cash in hand than stuck with the item. He is a zero feedback buyer so I am givingin him the benefit that he just does not know better.
