I got confirmation that my ANR catalog has arrived!

I've been antsy all day, knowing that some people on the boards have received their new ANR catalogs, and as of yesterday, I had not received mine. I usually get the mail when I go home. However, I just got a call from Mrs. Longacre informing me that she got the mail today becuase she was waiting for something from my daughter's school. So I used the opportunity to ask, "did I get any catalogs today??". She said, "yes, there is a big catalog from some ANR place." I said great, I was expecting that. Her response was, "[Longacre], I feel bad for you. That's pretty sad that you're that excited that a coin catalog came." image

Can't wait to get home and peruse it in my overstuffed chair. image

That is exactly why I have all catalogs mailed to me at work. So I don't have to wait, and take ribbing from the wife. I have had mine for hours and let me tell you, from the glances I have taken. This one will be a keeper.

Very cool stuff. Although you have seen tidbits already from various posters.
If I say something in the woods, and my wife isn't around. Am I still wrong?

That's what your wife said? That's a real bad sign - she didn't make even a half-hearted effort to make your life more exciting?

You'd better bring home a dozen roses - fast!

I would not want to share my catalog with Consuela.

Suggestion: PM Jenna and ask if she can get Consuela on the mailing list, too. image

Gag me. You even used a piece of QDB's favorite imagery (the "overstuffed chair", to which Mr. Bowers frequently refers).

I got my copy today too image

Mine arrived today. It might be my favorite ANR catalog so far, despite that there are few if any coins for me to bid.
