From a good submission to not so good.

The submission results I posted the other day I was quite pleased with. Today, they post my freebie. A 56 Jefferson Nickel with greens & blues and call it QT.

It was getting near the end of the last quarters freebie, and I wasnt seeing much to submit. I picked up a 56 Mint set for break up for the half dollars for a customer. One of the nickles, I believe it was the 56-d, had awsome greens & blue hues with very sharp and crisp luster. Not a full stepper, but I figured since It was getting close to the deadline, Id submit that. Well PCGS must have felt someone got into an original set and tampered with or enhanced the color. They must be getting overly cautious on color becuas eof all the AT's

Well it was only a 11.00 loss for return postage.

It's my understanding that PCGS has been leery of blue nickels for some time. Try it again if you know it's legit, PCGS isn't perfect.
