MAJOR numismatic deal coming down...

Some guy at work (who I hardly know) just threw a bag of silver on my desk. He heard I was a collector. He wants me to make an offer, and buy it all. He pulled this stuff from circulation years ago (the dimes are about half Mercs). Anyway, I sorted through the stuff (see below for the details).
I’m thinking of paying 7x face for the 90% silver, and 2.7 times face for the 40% stuff.
Is this reasonable? Too high, too low?
I don’t want to screw the guy, but I would like to make a couple bucks. I just don’t deal in junk silver very much…

Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
$7 would be fair today.
Thanks for the advice -
(does this make me a full blown coin dealer?)
