Just picked this up as an interesting piece. His pictures not mine Anybody know the story behind it?

BHM #1834 Brass, Rarity "RRR" Extremely Rare.

Reverse says " By Trampling on Libertys I lost the Reins" with St. George slaying the British Lion!

I have traced the saying back to an 1830 Medal BHM#1442 Earl Grey Appointed Prime Minister, the Duke of Wellington was trampling the Lion on that piece. It is also on a William the IIII medal BHM #1724

I believe that I have seen this one on eBay before. As you state, mostly I have seen the Lost the Reigns reverse associated with the reign of William IV

It may well relate to Victoria having to relinquish the rule over Hannover with her coronation. The "To Hannover" tokens would then be a reply piece.

It must be something other than that, or it would have no meaning on the other two medals that are listed.
