    I would make the deal for willis or zito. zito would have to sign an extension within 48 hours for deal to happen.

    as for schmidt heck no. he is getting old and it wouldnt be worth it.

    I dont think milledge is going to anywhere near the player beltran is. we have beltran locked up for 5 more years, which makes milledge tradeable. if you can land a # 1 starter you make the deal.

    mets have another 2 prospects who some scouts believe are better then milledge.

    It would just suck to trade Milledge and watch him become a star when all we'd have to do to get Zito is wait untill the end of the year and sign him as a F.A

    but can we win with glavine a hurting pedro trax and a 4 and 5 we have no idea who it will be week in and week out?

    milledge is a centerfeilder i hate to see him go. but pitching wins. zito or willis this year and we can win it all.

    Even though the Marlins have no loyalty to their players, I don't see Willis going anywhere. I think Zito will go to the Mets, however.

    I think the Mets can win it all without making that trade. All they need to do is get to the playoffs and then they have two quality starters with Glavine and Martinez, which is what you need to succeed. Of course, if they can get Zito with a contract extension, it's a no-brainer.
