Paypal/USPS problem I havent seen before

Purchased an item, seller used Paypal shipping confirmation(I received the email), and item was sent to incorrect address. What could have happened here?
Specifically, the item was coming from Maryland and tracking states it was delivered to Brooklyn, NY. I live near Albany, NY which would be about 200 miles away.
I wrote an email to the seller about the problem...what can I do in this situation????

I had a similar problem last month.

eBay and PayPal gave me the wrong address.
    I send the item.
The item is returned "no such address."
I contact the buyer; buyer gives "correct address,"
and says he has no idea where the wrong address came from.
I pay another $5.00 to re-ship the stuff.
Buyer is useless trash and does not leave FB.
(It could be worse: Maybe he will neg me for
    delay in mailing.)

As long as you paid with PayPal, the seller is helpless to
do anything other than follow your instructions for
    remailing/refunding.

(I just wish that I could figure out how to get traffic to
my own website. eBay would NEVER hear from me
again. Now they are raising the store-listing fees!!!
    end rant)

storm-just put your site in all of your store listings and auctions. Many, many other sellers do it. And when you send an email or ship cards, include a link or business card for your site.

Sims, joes and many others do this.

So Im out 30 bucks and someone in Brooklyn, NY got my stuff. G-damn it!
Ebay is raising store fees? You could see that coming. Stocks are falling so they AGAIN raise some fee to make the stockholders happy. Cant go anywhere else...too much of a monopoly and no one even coming close to compete.
