I couldn't think of his first name, I believe he played quarterback at Utah state or something like that.

Not quite sure you can call him a bust, just yet.

He played on a horrific SF team, with no O line, and no one outside Lloyd to throw to (and now he's gone).

I'm not sure you can call anyone a bust after one year...anyone not named Ryan Leaf, that is.

Mike Williams (DET) may become one soon if he doesn't improve. He should with Kitna/McCown and Mike Martz now there.

Hell at least Smith played...what's that guy from green bay...aaron rodgers?

Aaron Rogers should not even be mentioned in this thread. Favre was the clear cut starter, the Pack drafted him to watch and learn until Favre retires so the jury needs to be out on him.

I agree with you, but in all honesty, how many #1 draft picks for the Lions have actually played to their hype, only one I can recollect is Barry! I will give Mike Williams last year, because he did not play football for a year, but i think he will be playing with Clarett in Europe or something.

I am still sitting and waiting though, for Harrington to prove that the Lions failing was not all his fault, and I still think he is going to go on to have a respectable career!
  • I've got to agree with axtell about alex smith. The 9ers are terrible at almost every position. I don't think any young QB could suceed there, and I don't see how they win more than 4-5 games this season.
