Former Negro league player Buck O'Neal signed a one day contract with the Kansas City T-Bones at age 94 to become the oldest pro-baseball player. He ended up walking twice. Good for him

He truly is a class act and has been a fantastic ambassador for the game of baseball.

His being passed for the hall of fame is one of the biggest outrages ever to occur in the game of baseball.

I agree. I believe that the injustice will be fixed one day, I just wish for him to be alive when it happens. Not a superstar on the field say some, but combined with his efforts off the field for the past what, 60 years, how could he not be deserving?

After his first walk he was traded to the other team and walked for them also.

I was absolutely shocked when he was passed over for the Hall. Being in KC, I know first hand how much he has done for the game. He was the main player in starting the Negro League HOF. He wasn't even upset when he was not elected to the hall earlier this year. Just took it all in stride. Truly a class act.
