question on Japanese stamps..........

I have sheets & sheets of Japanese stamps that came in on a deal........ Their value is denoted as 40, 60, & 80 "Nippon"........ What does this equate to in dollars ?????? Is 1 Nippon = 1 yen ???????

Nippon is another word for Japan. Most likely, your denominations are in yen.
