Something is wrong - I clicked on your post and got a pop-up asking for a username and password?

This is trivial, but are you certain you didn't try to link the image directly from your computer?

I don't know, goose. Looks like there's a scratch, actually a few, in the focal area on the obverse, that I think you will be disappointed. jmho.image

<sarcasm>Well, my apology. If it's in the PCGS slab, then it's all well and good. </sarcasm>

I've seen that on many early halfs--what is it?
  • TomBTomB Posts: 21,932 ✭✭✭✭✭
It's known as a center dot. I believed this is the spot where a compass would be put in order to measure the correct distances and alignments for the devices on early Federal coinage.

Nice half goose. I like her as a keeper.
Nice hair detail, eagle is nice, stars and LIBERTY are beautiful, great color....image

As far as the obverse scratches-- she is an old gal- that obverse is fine. Nice coin.

I would love to have her in my collection.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"
