this is why I gave up my Platnium Memebership at PCGS

I know I can't let this go but PCGS AT'ed this super original coin. Coming out of an old time collection at Stacks, does anyone honestly agree with this?

You didn't submit it enough times!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

Stacks has a good rep for offering quality raw coins... Next time submit the coin in the Stacks sealed flip image

If you are easily frustated, then the grading submisson "game" is not for you. Otherwise resubmit the coin.

I don't know if its AT or not, but submitting a coin one time and receiving a BB does not mean it will be BB'd the next time.

I'm personally not sure if it's AT or NT, but I will say those are sort of unusual colors for that series.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

Forgot to say: However I have seen those colors on seated half-dimes in PCGS holders.

From the picture I would be on the line also. The reverse is very iffy.

the coin is much darker in person. Stack made the images lighter.

pcgs i think did the correct thing, it is more like then not AT, however why not put it in an album or envelope and try submiting the coin again in a month or two
  • I have to go with AT on this one as well. The toning has that AT look to it, just the colors do not seem right to me.

Just because a coin came out of "an old time" collection, you know.....

Did you divorce your wife after your first argument?

As many have stated, resubmit, it's not just a theory, it's a way of life!
