What's the reserve...?

I don't want to bid this one up too much, just in case:

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

  • Thanks for the offer. Last thing I need is to get in a bidding war over this beauty........

I wonder: What % of Ebay's revenue come from stupid sellers like this? Not just these 'to the moon' auctions, but the other dumb little things that clutter the search results as well. 1991 Topps Jose Canesco cards for $1.49 (plus shipping, of course), and so on.

....between his extra pictures and the reserve price listing, his EBAY fees will almost reach what the set is worth......Knucklehead!!

Well, it seems that he is wising up. Last week he was trying to sell the Clemens All-Star for $18,000. At least his prices are getting a little more reasonable.

If the price sounds too good to be true... it probably is

LOL! Maybe I ought to make him an offer of $1000 to end the auction early. image
