The sky should be filled with batteries raining down on TO when he comes to the Linc. It will be a beautiful site to behold.
T.O. tells HBO he's misunderstood; wonders `Why me?'

IRVING, Texas (AP) -- Terrell Owens blames the media for portraying him as a selfish player, although he admits a tendency of saying things about others that he wouldn't want said about himself.
In an interview with Bryant Gumbel airing Tuesday night on HBO's "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel," Owens acknowledges dishing out more criticism than he's willing to take.
"The only thing I can really think of is maybe it was the way I grew up, you know," he said, according to a transcript released Monday to The Associated Press. "I got picked on so much, and it's like I feel like I'm still constantly being picked on."
Owens said he doesn't think reporters are necessarily conspiring against him as much as using him "to gain viewers' attention." As a result, he believes that he is "misunderstood." He said other players have been, too, "but I feel like I have been one of the main guys who've been vilified."
Why?
"That's the million-dollar question," he said. "Why me? ... At some point it does get to me. And I can't say it enough. Dude, I'm human and that's what I'm trying to get people to understand."
Owens also discussed his spat with quarterback Donovan McNabb that eventually led to his release by the Eagles.
As he wrote in a recently released book, Owens said he believes McNabb was jealous of the attention Owens was receiving in Philadelphia and that things boiled over when McNabb cursed at him in a huddle after a play. Owens said he took it as more than something said in the heat of competition.
"When I tried to address that after the game, he blew me off," Owens said. "So, that let me know it's more than just being competitive. It was more than that."
Owens is scheduled to report to his first training camp with Dallas Cowboys at the end of next week.

I don't think the average Cowboys fan really wanted him. It was all Jerry Jones idea.
I remember TO and mcnabb standing around talking and palling around at the pro bowl prior to his getting dealt to philly.
eagle fans want to act like they never wanted TO in town...funny, I don't recall any anti-TO sentiment while he was putting up huge numbers.
<< <i>The guy is a total clown. He actually believes his own B.S, but at the end of the day he is one of the most talented wideouts in the game, and that is why he remains in the NFL. I think he will post up some good #'s this year and might be the key that the 'Boys need to make some playoff noise. >>
I played WR on my high school football team. Not that I was any good (LOL) but I fully understand the position and evaluating talent at that position. Two seasons ago, I saw TO make the best catch I have ever seen made in the NFL, on a basic flag pattern. It wasn't in a key spot in the game so it wasn't remembered by the general public, but I'll neveer forget that catch.
Sometimes the catches that look "spectacular" to the public really aren't the hardest catches to make. On this one TO accelerated to the ball and had his hands in perfect position after McNabb threw it over the wrong shoulder...TO twisted his body back and caught it - I'm not sure any other receiver in NFL history could have made that catch.
So yes - I know how good TO can be. That being said...he's a team cancer and still not worth it. Especially now he's two years older and has a nagging groin injury which could flareup again at any time. Also, the time he played for the Eagles last season was productive...but I seen him drop a number of very catchable passes as well.
I'm still predicting 6 - 10 for the Cowboys with TO being eagerly released by Jerry Jones after the season is over.
Yes, they're both total tools. But if we're sick of hearing about every one of these guys' missteps imagine how it must look to T.O. and Barry.
I think Bledsoe better throw to him often, and it better be right there.
