Sweet old coin stamps...

Received a package last week shipped to me with these old stamps & thought I'd share them here.

The 4 stamps together measure 3" x 2 1/2"

I've got a couple unused blocks of these. Very neat. Still looking for the Priority rate issue with the St. Gaudens double eagle.

Yipes!!! What do you consider old? These were issued in 1975

The one on the left is Scott # 1577 Un .25 U .20
The one on the right Scott # 1578 Un .25 U .20

Together Scott # 1578a Un .50 U .40

The two different color ommission errors are catalogued at $2K plus.

It won't be hard to find you a few Un if you want them. As a matter of fact, sheets aren't unheard of.

I remember this set. Only the year before had I begun collecting coins and stamps. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a plate block at the post office.

The plate blocks are catalogued at $1.20. You should be able to get one for under $5.

If anybody is interested, there is also a I.H. penny on a 13C stamp. Scott nr. 1734
