that's tough coming out of topps flimsy traded box to get a 10.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

ajetfan- who is also a member here-- has been making a king's ransom selling high grade Mets cards to this buyer. If you have a PSA 10 Met, and this guy doesn't own it, then watch out! Because he is a VERY aggressive bidder.

If the traded are anything like the regular issue, 10s will be very tough. Also, agree on pantsmanfish. If you're a bidder, move aside and bow to him. If you're a seller, get ready for an all expenses paid vacation.

There were 4 bidders that were willing to pay $79 or over.

Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

  • I immediately thought you meant this Rusty.

One thing about Rusty, he wore his stirrups like a real ballplayer. How can anyone argue that this look isn't infinitely better than today's no stirrup look?

  • Staub is also revered in Montreal. I've never understood the adulation because it was before my time, but Expos fans love Staub as much if not more than Carter or Dawson. His nickname is "Le Grand Orange."

I miss the stirrups...I have to admit. I don't care for the "casual" pants look.
  • The "other Rusty" 1984 TT in a PSA 9 is amazing as well. I'm getting the wrong stuff graded.

That pic in the 77 Staub looks more like Fidrych than Staub.
