Good luck on 80s rip

I ripped a potpourri of stuff and am very disappointed:

Baseball
1981 Fleer wax- all OC
1981 Topps Cellos- mostly OC
1982 Topps Wax- OC
1983 Fleer wax- yawn
1983 Topps wax- nothing decent
1984 Topps wax- nothing decent
1984 Fleer wax- nice shape but commons
1985 Fleer cello- nice Ryan
1985 Topps Rack packs- mostly OC, no stars
1986 Donruss rack- nice cards, no stars
1987 Donruss- nice cards, no stars

Football
1980 Topps cellos- a few gradable commons, but nothing exciting
1982 Topps wax- yuck

Basketball
1980-81 wax- looks like they were in someone's pocket for a week

The hockey OPC was even worse.
I think I'll stop here before I cry.

Wow, sorry about that. Sounds like my luck with ripping wax. It is most definiitely a gamble, a fun gamble, but none-the-less a gamble.

I have never been able to bring myself to rip anything expensive because I have seen all of the horror stories. But, every so often someone pulls that once in a lifetime PSA 10 HOF'er or rookie and it gives us all renewed hope.
